TODDLER TENNIS (3 & 4 years) Click Director of Coaching Jason Roberts manages the Tennis Central Coaching programmes at the picturesque Robertson Park Tennis Centre. Jason has developed a program that caters for 4-year-old beginners up to elite squad players. After school classes run for 45 minutes, or 1 hour (depending on age and standard) to cater for pupil progression and development.
The emphasis on our ever popular kids coaching is initially teaching the kids the basic techniques in a fun and enjoyable environment. Classes are capped at a maximum of 6-7 children per coach enabling them all the technical influence needed from their coach to learn the great game that tennis is.
Some students attend 2 or 3 sessions per week to accelerate their improvement and multi-lesson packages for advanced players are listed below.
NOTE: ENROLMENT IS ESSENTIAL PRIOR TO THE START OF EACH TERM

Description of different classes:
- 45 minute - Beginner-intermediate (ages 4-6yrs) standard lessons
Tues &Thurs 3.45pm to 4.30 pm & Sat morning 9.15-10.00 am
Lessons focus on the development of sound technique on forehand, backhand, volley, smash & serve and correct grip. - Term fee (based on 8 week term): $100.00
- 60 minute - Intermediate-advanced (ages 7-10yrs) standard lessons
Tues &Thurs 4.30pm to 5.30 pm & Sat morning 10.00 – 11.00am
Lessons focus on the development of advanced stroke technique; particularly topspin, slice and improvement of rallying consistency, net play and service power. - Term fee (based on 8 week term): $130.00
Terms & Conditions
- Racquets can be lent on your first lesson however thereafter you must bring your own or purchase one from the Pro Shop for $30 - $99...we have racquet sizes for all ages and you can consult a Tennis Pro for advice.
- Rainy days – indoor lessons may be coordinated- tennis rules, ettiquette and games will be held indoors if it rains. A decision regarding whether a session will be held will be made 30 minutes prior to the session time. When in doubt please ring Tennis Central for confirmation first. Make up sessions for washed out lessons is procedure or players will be credited for future lessons
- No shows – no refunds or credit will be given if you can't attend a session that you have enrolled in. If you let us know in advance we may be able to have you attend a different day/session as a make up lesson. If you are sick or injured, students must provide a medical certificate in order to receive make up session
